About / Biography

Elin Hirsch is an architect working at the intersections of practice, theory, research, art and curation.

Her architectural and curatorial practice merges critical and ecological thinking and research to explore sustainable relations that humans establish with and within built and unbuilt landscapes.

In architectural projects, Elin emphasizes the interconnections between human spatial experience and the built environment, between form and culture. She explores experimental relationships, aiming

to identify the project’s bearing elements for sustainable and regenerative adaptation and transformation.

Similarly, in unbuilt projects, the focus is on interrelations between structure and detail, seeking to cultivate regeneration and planetary responsibility.

Her work spans from architectural and curatorial projects, research, writing and advisory work.
